My new obsession...

Lately I've been really into eating organic foods as much as I can. Although SOME organic foods are more expensive, I think the health benefits are worth it. Actually, my mom has made me promise not to eat anything but organic strawberries because the pesticides seap right into the berry making them full of chemicals.. I have really been loving this blueberry green tea by yogi and a berry detox tea by yogi as well. I drink the green tea in the morning as opposed to coffee now because I find it gives me lasting energy throughout the day! In the mornings, it's great to get you out of your tired zombie state and wake you up. I was never much of a tea fan but once I realized Al of the benefits drinking one cup of green tea a day can have on your body, I decided to try it again. And I'm loving it! The benefits green tea can have are, boosting your metabolism, decreasing your chances of stomach cancer and promoting healthy liver and kidney functions. How do you guys feel about eating organic foods? Do you think it's worth it?

  1. I've always strongly supported farm to table restaurants, and I have mostly organic everything in my house by having the benefit of living on a farm. In the long run, supporting local businesses AND getting fresh food is the best way to help your body and the economy. Try Mellow Moods sometime, it's my favorite restaurant!
